In the meantime, Tagomi is nervous about the visitor checks that have been created because of this incident. Wegner is playing a Swede, when in reality he has a bullet that he was supposed to plant in Kido's pocket. In order to hide his evidence from being found, he swallows the envelope and bullet. Juliana arrives back home, and when she finds Frank, he is ignoring her. She understands that he is not happy, but she does not realize that he has lost some of his family. Frank tells Juliana that her mother stopped by, and that she should go visit her. Upon visiting her parents, which turned out to be brief, Juliana finds out that Frank lost his sister and her children due to the Japanese executing them. She is shocked to find that out, and returns back to Frank to console him. When she returns, Frank is injured and she helps him to remove his bullet, unfortunately, when she asks for their lives to be the same, Frank responds that it won't be the same. When Tagomi visits the Crown Princess while she awaits for the news on her husband, she shows unhappiness, to which the doctor alerts them that the Crown Prince is not in good shape. On the Reich's side, Joe has returned back to New York, and just as he gets out of his truck, men kidnap him and bring him to Mr. Smith. Even though Juliana tries to avoid the resistance, she wants to find her sister, which results in her going to the Nippon building to get a job and spy on the Japanese. When Wegner tries to fly back to escape his hotel to fly back to New Berlin, he almost runs into a Nazi agent while Tagomi is trying to avoid Chief Inspector Kido. Frank attends his sister's memorial to which he meets an old Jewish family friend who invites him to spend time. This episode ends with the suspense of Juliana when she has her interview and she has to make a decision based on values and morals.
