Summary:
In The Man in the High Castle, episode 4, it starts off with Juliana running in a dark warehouse as the Marshall follows behind shooting his gun. Just as the Marshall is about to catch her, Joe comes in and knocks the Marshall out for a few minutes as they run and hide. Their truck is missing, but when the albino boy redirects the Marshall, the boy gave them their keys and told them he hid the truck and that they need to get out of there. Juliana asks for the address of Lemuel so that she can warn him about the list she found in the cave that had Trudy's and his name on it. He then requests for the film that she has, but she refuses telling him that she wants to meet the man that he delivers this film to. When she goes back to Joe, she informs him of the meeting that she will have with Lemuel to meet the Man in the High Castle. Joe calls John in the middle of the night to inform him of their meeting on the next day, and John tells him to be very careful and to try and kill the Man in the High Castle even if it costs him his life.
Frank is seen walking around and watching the Japanese prepare for the Crown Prince and Princess' speech. While Frank is home, Ed comes over to see what is going on with Frank. He is displeased by the gun and tells Frank he shouldn't do anything with it, and even offers to take it and dispose of it. Frank dismisses that he won't do anything because he has no bullets.
Tagomi meets with the Crown Princess to inform her that nothing will happen, the forces see positive, and that there is no worry. Tagomi then goes to meet Wegner who is sealing the bullet he has in an envelope to place into Kido's pocket.
Lem is closing the diner early to go and meet Juliana, but then the Marshall catches him and he blames his early closing on a fever his son has. The Marshall points a gun at him to find out where Juliana is, but he says he has no idea. Juliana and Joe go to meet Lem in the area he chose for them to meet. When they get up there, men with guns jumped out requesting for the film Juliana had. They also revealed to her that Joe was a member of the Reich. Joe dismissed the claims by saying that he also had a film because he was a member of the resistance. They stated that it was very odd that he was the only one that came out alive during the first episode when he was to take that truck to the Neutral Zone. Lem and his men let Juliana and Joe go, but they told them they can not return to the city since the Marshall was looking for them; they could go to Cripple Creek though to steer clear.
Juliana's mom is folding clothes while watching a Japanese Sumo wrestling show when her husband, Arnold, walks in. Even though she claims she hates the Japanese, but she turns it off. Arnold informs her that Frank's sister and children were killed by the Kempetei. In shock, she goes to visit Frank.

Frank was not pleased, and he disrupted their conversation to which they left. The seller sealed up his store, and sold the bullets to Frank under a Japanese name of someone traveling to Tibet. He did ask for Frank's identity in the event there was trouble. Upon Frank's arrival home, he finds Juliana's mom in his residence. He tells her Juliana is at the dojo probably when she asks, and then she tells him how sorry she is about the death of his relatives.
Going back to the issue of Mr. Connolly and John, we find out that Mr. Connolly knows there is a security breach, but there is no phone line evidence to prove the security breach. John decides to go take a visit with Mr. Connolly to the "semite" because held for plotting against the higher people, but they find him dead. He committed suicide with a spoon, and Mr. Connolly is told to put the guard under arrest, especially since the semite was not supposed to have a spoon.

The Marshall noticed Juliana walking up to a black car which she starts and drives off with. Joe comes in to stall the Marshall, and tells him if he kills him, he is killing a member of the Reich, and that Juliana is a girl he is trying to get because she is part of the resistance. The Marshall chases after her, but when he gets to the black car, it was smashed and burning on fire to pretend that she is dead. Joe comes to pick her up and then they return to Canon City so that she can take the bus. She says she will not take the bus and that she has to make a call. Frank is preparing his gun for the speech of the Crown Prince and Princess. Ed knocks on the door because he realizes Frank is not giving up. Frank tells Ed he is killing the Crown Prince and Princess because they are irreplaceable, and that will really affect the Japanese. Ed tries to stop Frank, and even shoots him in the arm, but Frank just told Ed to get the first aid kit and locked him up in the bathroom. Frank leaves to attend the speech.
Tagomi is keeping an eye on Wegner. Wegner goes to sit near Kido, but then Kido's seat was switched, so Wegner had to quickly bump into a seat closer to Kido again. As the speech starts, Wegner keeps trying to slip the envelope into Kido's pocket.
Ed escapes from the bathroom and he answers the phone which is Juliana. He tells her that Frank is about to do something terrible and that she needs to come back. This prompts Juliana's decision to get on the bus and hurry up back, leaving Joe behind, who looks sad and lost. Frank is at the speech already, and as he pulls out his gun, he is being watched by a little Japanese boy. When shots are fired, Frank hides his gun into his pocket and leaves the scene, because he did not do it and did not want to be caught for it. This causes a commotion and Wegner never gets the chance to put the bullet into Kido's pocket.

Connections:
A connection I have made is with the stories, "My Name is Margaret" and "Hills like White Elephants." A common theme in both stories is being trapped and having to conform to beliefs of their systems. In that same way, in both the Reich and Pacific societies, the characters are stuck in the beliefs of the system. The Reich believes in no other people except for the Aryans and the non-disabled, or else they will be killed off. The Japanese believe in their culture only, but still allow some other races. In My Name is Margaret, Maya was trapped into conforming to the fact that she was of color, and she was treated in a sort of discriminated way. In Hills like White Elephants, the young girl was trapped into having to get an abortion in order to be with the American man, but if she left him and kept the child, she would still have to conform to aborting, as the belief system back then was against children born to non-married mothers.

Analysis:
- Themes: A major theme in this story was revelation, which happens to also be the title. Juliana finds out that Joe is part of the Nazi Reich, Juliana's mom finds out about Frank's sister and her children and also we find out that she does seem to have an interest in the Japanese culture, Ed discovers that Frank is plotting to kill the Crown Prince and Princess, and John may suspect that Mr. Connolly is involved in the security breach.
- Motifs: A common motif in this episode is guns and bullets. Joe has a gun when he is meeting Lemuel, Frank has a gun and he is trying to buy bullets, Ed shoots Frank with one of those bullets too, the Marshall thrived his power of his gun that shot huge bullets and left damaging wounds, Lemuel and his gang had guns to threaten Juliana and Joe, Wegner had a bullet that he was trying to slip into Kido's pocket, and also the fact that the Crown Prince was shot with bullets.
- Symbols: A symbolic moment was when the Marshall was getting his shoes shined, and he says to the albino boy that he is too white which can be a bad thing. Having too much of a good thing can be bad sometimes in many different situations, and it could possibly symbolize the Reich which wants everything from their Aryan ancestory to their disabilities to be pure. Maybe that is not such a good thing afterall.
- Conflicts: A man vs self conflict was going on with Joe. Joe is part of the nazi Reich, but he also has feelings for Juliana, and he also isn't sure of where he belongs. He has a conflict with being part of the Reich or not being part of the Reich, and he does not know who he wants to be.
