In Episode 8 of the Man in the High Castle, it begins with Lem teaching his disabled son how to catch fish. Juliana returns back to her mother to tell her that Trudy is dead, but her mother denies that it is true. Meanwhile Frank ends up finishing the forged antique piece to sell to the Yakuza member in which he partnered up with Mr. Childan to sell. Juliana ends up seeing Joe and he brings up the news about another tape. So when she goes back to the resistance, they deny the help of Joe as he may be a ploy. Meanwhile Juliana is still trying to get information on the Nippon building, including the fact she found out that her stepfather Arnold works there as a head person. On the Reich side, John decides to take Thomas to the doctor as opposed to his wife, Helen, and finds out that Thomas is diagnosed with a form of muscular dystrophy. Later on that day, Heydrich who is a crook amongst the Reich decides to meet with John and leaving him suspicious about the attempted attack from the resistance in Episode 4. He then invites him on a trip to spend time hunting. Just before his work day ends, John receives a call from Joe about his whereabouts on the Pacific side and what he has done to gain access to the new film and spoken with the resistance. We later see John end his day looking in a photo album with a picture of his brother whom happens to have the same muscular dystrophy his son has. Mr. Childan sells the antique piece so that Frank can get some money to run away with Juliana, Meanwhile Juliana and Joe were sent on a plot to claim the new tape for the resistance, luckily, Juliana found out the kempetai were coming to the club that Joe was at to make arrests. The resistance members that sent Joe in did not know about this plot either, so Juliana and Joe were able to make it free with the tape.
